"I wish I had the amulet I just described," Jon said. The stone flashed and suddenly a gold amulet appeared around his neck.
"I thought you wanted to make a device, not a magical item," Karyn said.
Jon shrugged. "I changed my mind. Now, who should I change into first?"
"How about me? Or maybe your sister Zoe? Or what about Sarah?"
"Sarah? Why would I ..."
He forgot that the amulet worked by the wearer saying someone's name while holding it. He said Sarah's name, so he changed into Sarah.
"I don't want to be Sarah," Jon said, with Sarah's voice. "Whoa, that's weird."
"Then just say your name," Karyn pointed out.
"Oh yeah," Jon said, settling down. "Jon." Suddenly, his body shifted back to its normal look.
"I want to try," Karyn said.
