Karyn, sitting in her car, flabberghasted, decided to call it a day. First, the wishing stone, now the magic pencil, Karyn felt that her brain might explode. The world she knew a couple days ago was completely changed, and she needed some time to process.
Still in her neighbourhood, she headed straight home. There was little traffic and she had silenced the teenage pop group from the radio, so there was plenty of time to think. The way she saw it, she could use the pencil to get everything she wanted. She could even make Jon forget about it, and have it for her very own. Even the wishing stone could be hers if she wanted.
On the other hand, she could see her soul deteriorating very quickly if she wasn't careful. The kind of power she was talking about could very easily corrupt. Sure, she could have it all, but in the end would it be worth it if she lost herself in the process?
She wasn't sure what she thought. A part of her wanted to believe that she would do the right thing, make good choices, but then she remembered Jon. She had given him a life as a crossdressed french maid for the school's biggest bitch, Sarah McMillan. Even though he didn't seem to mind (he seemed to enjoy being a maid) she knew she had done him wrong. She could have changed him back any time, but she let him go to his shift anyway.
