The church was always a sanctuary for her throughout her life and it would be nice to see if they could help her again. Even if they couldn’t remove what had happened to her at least they should be able to give her direction and support for what she was going through. She appreciated that Albert was here but he was still young, it felt wrong to have him correct her. She was his master, teaching him the ways of the order so that one day soon he might become a paladin in his own right.

The city of Eagle’s Peak was a hub for many on religious journeys and crafted some of the finest potions and remedies to be found in the Kingdom. Samantha didn’t care for the hate directed towards magic users in the city but she could understand it. An evil undead wizard had held the place under siege for two decades and the memory was still fresh for many of those living in the place. Things were getting better, slowly, but it was the wise spell crafter who hid their appearance as wizards or sorcerers.

They passed through two of the gates to get to the temple of the Silver Griffin. Church guards flanked the entrance to the large cathedral. Samantha hadn’t been here very often but it was very likely she would meet someone she recognized here though they weren’t likely to recognize her any longer with her new form.

She spied her reflection in one of the mirrors and didn’t like what she saw. Despite her time the road and less than proper attire she was still obviously a very beautiful woman with the curves and build more fitting a pleasured woman than a person who belonged to the church especially one as fine as this. Samantha knew she would be welcomed, they welcomed everyone inside but she a paladin of the order and going in like this would be disrespecting the Gods of good the Silver Griffin worked for. Samantha hesitated as she stood in front of the door.

“What are you waiting for?” Albert asked. “Is there something holding you back?”

“Only my attire and appearance,” Samantha responded. “I think I should clean up before I go inside.”

“Don’t listen to that voice, that is just vanity.”

“It is more than that, it is about showing respect to this place and the divinity in it.”

"It is up to you, what do you want to do?"
