Sir Garrett new it was a little selfish but he wanted to find the culprit. It wasn’t so much a desire for revenge as a desire to return to who he was. He felt if he could catch up with the culprit he could be transformed back into a man quickly because the person should have the ability to reverse what has been done. “We should seek out the culprit.”

“Are you sure master?” Albert looked out concerned.

“If we can catch up to culprit quick enough we won’t have to delay our mission too much,” Sir Garrett explained. “They should have a cure for what they have done to me, and if we go seeking a cure who knows how much work it will entail. If we continue with our mission as I am now I may prove to be an anchor weighing down the success of the mission because this body moves differently than my old one and my equipment is not of the right size.”
Albert nodded at the explanation,” I will seek out the tracks to the east and do a circle west and you go west and circle east. We will do a quick circle that way and hopefully find a trail to follow.”

“Good plan let us commence,” Sir Garrett smiled which caused his or rather now her apprentice to blush. The effect had not been intended but was not to be unexpected considering the little experience his squire had with girls especially beautiful ones.

It didn’t take long for them to find the trail. The real question was why anyone would wear high heels to the woods. They tracked the footprints back to the road with little difficulty and they were very certain the person would be heading towards civilization considering the expensive pieces of fabric they found caught on thorn bushes.

The question before them now was if they should push their horses before in the pursuit or take a more methodical approach. If they pushed the animals they could likely catch the person much more quickly but they were taking a great risk of overshooting the target and missing them especially since they didn’t see the person who intruded on the camp. If they took the more time it was likely they would discover who had committed the action against Sir Garrett but there was a strong possibility of the trail going cold in the time they took following the various trails of investigation they would have to pursue.
