When the boy Mel had called Ward started typing on their Guides, David and Suzie had been worried that something awful was about to happen. Suddenly though they found they could move again.

A few more key strokes and they felt themselves changing back to their original forms. Suddenly the heard Mel shouting as he appeared in the room, held still by two large warriors. "Let me go! Ward! Stop them.......!" Mel shouted, but the boy just stood there and smiled.

David and Suzie, now back in their proper forms, gasped in shock to see the boy start growing and changing. Soon he was not a young boy, but a grown woman. Somehow David knew that she was a real Sage.

"Mel, AKA Drew Lintinson, you are guilty of Illegal Character Modifications, Illegal Hacking, Seizing Control of Player Characters, Seizing Control of Non-Player Characters, and Intent to take over the World, as well as other lesser violations of the ToS. Your characters will be deleted, your account removed, and you WILL be hearing from the Gods mightiest servants.....their Lawyers." the Sage said.

"No, No! You can't do this to me! Ward! Ward where are you!" Mel yelled. "Oh, we deleted him three days ago. I've been monitoring you in his form ever since." the Sage answered. Then, turning to the Warriors added "Take him out of here."

The warriors nodded, and dragged Mel away.

The Sage then turned to David and Suzie, and handed them back their Guides. "Do be more careful in the future will you? It's impossible to take your Guide away from you. But if you give it to someone....well I think you both know now how bad that can be. There's no reason for anyone to ever ask for it, not even a Sage, not even a God."

"Yes Ma'am." David said. "We won't let it happen again." "Good. I have business to attend to now. Enjoy the game, and be careful." the Sage told them, and vanished.

David and Suzie hurried outside, thankful to have been saved from what would have been a horrid fate. Still, they couldn't bring themselves to log out. While they'd been scared when they were captive, now that everything was ok.....it just seemed exciting.

"So" Suzie said "What should we do now?"
