Jon thought that being a celebrity would have been easier. Not that he was really a celebrity, but to the fans that hounded him at the airport, men who tried to fondle him, women who scrambled for autographs, he was. Sure, all the attention was exhausting, but also encouraging. If Jon could fool all these strangers, maybe he'd be able to fool his date!
After clearing security, and boarding the plane, Jon relaxed in his first class seat. He'd only flown a couple times before, and never in first class. The stewardess had brought him a glass of orange juice mixed with champagne, after, of course, gushing over Jon. She wasn't really a fan of Jon's, but rather of Evangeline's, but Jon stayed in character and received the praise with poise.
Buckled in, luggage stowed, Jon pressed the button that reclined his roomy chair and stretched out. The flight would be his last chance to relax before the show really started.
