"What? Wow. I guess that explains it. It did seem a bit unlikely..."
"Unlikely?" Karyn wondered about that.
"Of course. You catch were-whatever by being bitten. Wolves bite people all the time, so being a werewolf spreads fast. Women don't go around biting random people, so being a were-woman doesn't spread very fast."
"So you're really a were-woman?"
"Of course I am, you know that... or maybe you don't, if that's really just a pencil thing."
Karyn may have written it down, but now that it had happened she thought it was odd. "Tell me more about it," she said.
