Magic Pencil: Feeling Foxy

Jon read the notepad aloud: "Jon has fox ears and a tail."
"But that's impossible," Jon said. "I've had these my entire life, you're always saying how cute you think it is. I even remember how in grade school that bully used to always tug on my tail when I wasn't looking."
Karyn grinned. "I told you it works! It's incredible, it's as if it rewrites history so that everything was always like that."
Jon thought for a moment until he realized how much was possible with the notepad. Logically he knew he must have just been changed, but he remembered as if he'd been born with fox ears and a tail. As far as history was concerned, because of the way the notepad had rewritten history he really had been! If it could change one person so completely, he wondered what would happen if he tried to change more than one...or maybe even everyone.
"Let me see the notepad for a second," Jon asked.
Karyn hesitated for a moment, worried that Jon might be planning some sort of revenge, but handed it over. Jon grinned to himself as he wrote. He was comfortable with his own changes (having now spent a lifetime with them), but decided maybe the world could use a little tweaking. He'd always felt like a bit of an outsider, but here was a chance to do something about that.
He quickly wrote with his back turned to Karyn so she wouldn't see, and then grinned in satisfaction as he placed it down.
"I see it worked perfectly," Jon chuckled. "I just changed..."
