"I wish I had something in my hand right now which let me do anything I wanted."
Jon looked at the wishing stone he was holding, but needless to say, when he made that wish, nothing new happened.
He slapped himself on the forehead, realizing that the wishing stone already did that. Or at least mostly so. (The stone didn't let him reverse wishes and he couldn't affect the whole world, so technically it wouldn't let him do anything he wanted.)
"I wish I had a device that would allow me to do anything I wanted." The stone glowed and suddenly an odd-looking gun appeared on his bed. He picked it up and looked at it.
"It looks like a mix between a remote control and a ray gun," Karyn said.
Jon aimed the device at Karyn and pulled the trigger, but nothing happened.
"Hey!" Karyn yelled out. "Watch where you point that thing. I'm not your personal guinea pig."
Ignoring Karyn's complaint, Jon said "I wonder why it didn't work."
"Maybe you have to tell it what you want first," Karyn suggested.
"Good idea." He looked closely at the gun and saw a rectangular button on the top. He pressed it and said "I want Karyn to love me ... sexually."
"Hey!" Karyn said, disgusted by Jon's first test.
He pointed the device at her and pulled the trigger. And odd whining sound came from the device, but that was all.
"Do you feel any different, Karyn?"
