Jen looked around her room. "Ugh. What happened to my room?" It was still Jon's bedroom. The device wasn't the stone, it only changed appearances and memories of people. It didn't change reality, like the stone did.
"That might be a little hard to explain," Zoe said.
"It doesn't matter. I can fix it." Jen grasped the stone, which she was already holding. "I wish my bedroom was the way I remember it."
The stone glowed and Jon's former bedroom morphed into Jen's bedroom, becoming a Goth girl's room very similar to Zoe's.
Zoe ran over to Jen. "How did you do that?" she asked.
"I have this," Jen said, showing her sister the stone. "It's a wishing stone. I can wish for anything I want with this thing."
"Can I see it?"
Normally, Jon would never let his sister get her hands on something like the wishing stone. But Jon wasn't Jon anymore. She was Jen, a Goth girl that was a close friend to Zoe.
"I trust you," Jen said, handing over the stone to her sister.
"Are we gonna go, or what?" Karyn said, complaining.
"Huh?" Zoe asked. "Oh, yeah."
Jen and Karyn left the room, leaving Zoe behind for a moment. She looked down at the stone deviously. This thing was even better than a Likeness Manipulator. She was gonna have a whole lot of fun with this.
"Zoe, are you coming?" Jen yelled from the stairs.
