5th grade

Mikey went into 5th grade as himself. He met all his new teachers. In middle school, they spent time in multiple classrooms, which the girl scouts used to their advantage when passing around the necklace. The subjects were a little harder, but Mikey did well academically that year. Mikey got more merit badges in boy scouts, started to play soccer and started to play the guitar. As Michele, there were more patches on her sash and she became the star of the softball team.
On the personal side, things started to deviate between Mikey and Michele. Mikey was friends Davis, Henry and all the girl scouts. He would sit with each group and chat easily. He enjoyed his sleep overs with the boys, playing videogames until too late. Davis started to talk about girls a bit, and seemed to have a crush on Vicky. Mikey told Vicky and the 2 started to hold hands later that day. As Michele, Davis and Henry started talking a little less around her. Davis spent a little more time staring at her chest as the year went along. Henry did not make quite as many potty jokes too. Michele missed the sleep overs with Davis and Henry, but did have fun with the the girl scout sleep overs. Mikey really enjoyed when it was just him and Diane. They could talk about anything. Once or twice, they did not even go to sleep.
Michele noted her chest was growing. Even though Mikey spent a lot of time as Michele over the last year, it was still strange to wake up with some slowly growing lumps on his chest. The nipples did not change much, but the areolae got a bit bigger. Michele went bra shopping with her mother in the winter, as she had gotten large enough to need more than a training bra. Michele was measured by the lady at the store, which Mikey thought was a big invasion of privacy. Almost as big as when her mother would walk in on her midchange. After a long couple hours, Michele left with 4 new bras, some of which were part of a matching bra/pantie set that her mother thought looked "cute." She also noted that her butt seemed to be getting a little bigger too. She could feel the difference in her walk between Mikey and Michele. Michele had a bit more sway in her step.
The biggest change was not for Mikey though. Molly left the necklace on for over 24 hours intentionally. She wanted to be Monte full time. She told the girl scouts that she just felt more comfortable that way. The whole school treated her as if she was always Monte, except for the girl scout crew. Monte still sat with the girl scouts in the beginning, but over the course of the year, he would sit with his other friends more and more until he did not sit with them at all. Mikey did get to use the necklace a little more often now that there was one less person using it. He didn't mind being a boy more often, in fact he preferred it. It was easier.
5th grade was a pretty good year for Mikey, but the summer was a busy one.
