Billy loved his family. And the idea that he would never see them again, despite the fact that they were now gothic freaks, filled him with dread. So, Billy made a very hard decision.
He took out his portable radio out of his closet, plugged it in, and turned it on.
Sitting in front of a mirror, he watched his form shimmer, then morph. Suddenly, he had long black hair (some of which was draped across his face, obscuring it from view), black eyeliner, black lipstick, piercings in his ears and nose, and black polish on his nails. He wore a black heavy metal band T-shirt, black leather pants, and black boots. He also wore a spiked collar on his neck and a spiked bracelet on his wrist.
"I'm doing this for my family, I'm doing this for my family," Billy kept repeating to himself, as his mind slowly aligned with his new Goth personality.
