Zoe looked around at the still-changing neighborhood and downtown area. Some houses looked more gothic-looking, while others remained the same as they were before. And the same was true for the downtown buildings. Even the cars looked gothic. Lots of them appeared to be hearses.
Zoe and her friends saw no one but Goths walking around downtown. It seemed as though everyone or almost everyone had already changed.
They continued their way back to the school, which looked totally different now. Whereas before it had a modern concrete look to it, now it looked like an old gothic castle, complete with torches and gargoyles.
