They pulled Seth out of the room. He didn't need to stay and listen to the signal. He only needed to be exposed to it.
As Jay and Ashley pulled him out, he began to squirm again. "Wait, leave me in there," he yelled.
They stopped, confused by his request. Why would he want to stay in the room?
"Pull him out of there," Sarah ordered. She saw their confusion. "He wants to get at the device and change himself back into a ..." She almost couldn't finish, it disgusted her so much. "A geek."
Jay and Ashley yanked him out of the room and closed the door.
"No! That was my only chance." He didn't want to be a freak. And that's what he would eventually become. He looked down at himself. How could he go through life dressed like this? A black vinyl shirt, a black torn skirt, and black boots. He looked like a crossdresser. There was no way he could ever accept this new version of himself. He liked being a geek.
But then, he started to think that it wasn't all that bad. He thought that he looked good in black, even if it was vinyl and ripped cloth. Then he thought that wearing a skirt wouldn't be so bad. In fact, he looked pretty good in it. And slowly, his new Goth personality took over and his geek personality was no more. He only had his memories of being a geek and it disgusted him.
He looked up at Sarah, with a wicked grin. "Thanks for changing me. I can't believe I wanted to stay as a fucking geek."
