Jay talked Sarah and some of his other friends, that he could contact, into coming with him to Pittsburgh. He wanted Sarah to come mainly because he didn't have a car and she did. But also because he wanted his girlfriend with him. Melissa, Ashley, and Meagan also came.
They sped out of town in Sarah's convertible, leaving their school day behind.
And after about ten minutes, they turned onto the interstate and drove to Pittsburgh.
