With the house to himself, Jon plotted out the rest of his day. His first priority would be figuring out where the stone disappeared to. If he could get his hands on it, maybe he could get things back to normal. Failing that, it was probably a good idea to find out what the hell he even was right now.

Jon paused his thought as he suddenly noticed a pressure in him. It was a familiar feeling. Sheepishly, he realized in all the excitement he had yet to actually do this this morning. Okay, his actual first priority was going to be figuring out how to pee.

In the bathroom, Jon gingerly lifted the toilet lid, pulled his tail through his pants then shimmied the pants down his legs, and plopped down on the seat. He mentally searched his anatomy for the right muscle to relax, then let loose. It was an utterly mundane experience. In a way it was more surreal how similar it felt, having a familiar relief delivered through unfamiliar plumbing.

Finishing up, Jon motioned to clean himself off with toilet paper like he knew girls were supposed to. He stopped. He hadn't touched anything yet, but... His hand was so close to... Butterflies filled his stomach. He breathed in then carefully cleaned himself without prodding anything untoward. He wasn't ready for that yet.

Making his way from the bathroom to his own room, Jon decided to test his new anatomy with his brain. It took him a bit, but Jon eventually figured out how to manually move his tail. He could raise it up or swing it to either side, although to his dissapointment it didn't seem to be prehensile in any way. The tip simply bent where the base pointed. While he was probing those muscles, he accidently and unfortunately found a few places he could tense his vagina. Also, try as he might, Jon found no way to influence the tendrils hanging off his head.

In his room now, Jon noticed that he hadn't had any trouble walking yet. That was in spite of having a new center of gravity, a totally new leg joint, and not even having feet. This was a bad idea, like reminding yourself you can manually breath. True to form, Jon lost his balance upon realizing this, tumbling as he became acutely aware of how his body locomotes. He grabbed the bed frame and pulled himself on to his chair, wheeling himself to his computer until autopilot could return.
