As they were shopping, a thin nerdy girl named Kyla Leeson walked up to Karyn.
"Karyn? Why are you dressed like that?"
"Ugh. Get away from me, you geek freak," Karyn said. The term "geek freak" was something that the popular girls frequently called people like Kyla and other geeks and nerds.
