Athena smirked and scrolled through the list, then stopped when she saw the perfect option: GOTH. "How about a little poetic justice?"
Sarah looked worried. "What ... what are you going to do?"
"This," Athena said, firing off the device.
Within seconds, Sarah's overall appearance went from pink to black. Her skin became pale, her hair became black, and her make-up became black as well, and she received several piercings and a tattoo. She looked down, shocked, at her new look: a ripped fishnet shirt underneath a black corset, a worn black miniskirt, fishnet stockings, and a pair of black leather knee-high buckled boots with four-inch stacks.
"You turned me into a freak!" she yelled out. But she knew from experience that soon she wouldn't feel that way. And that scared her to death. She didn't want to like being a Goth. The whole thing was disgusting, running around like vampire-wannabees. Maybe if she tried her hardest to fight against the new personality, maybe she could beat this.
But all her resistance was for nothing. Because within just another minute, she liked the new her. And she never wanted to be that Barbie-wannabee ever again.
