So their Zoe was, aiming the personality modifier at Jon. it was set to goth.
"Wait Zoe." jon said. "before you shoot me and show me directly, I want to know what the appeal of being a goth is. I am curious. It's obviously more than a fashion thing or music thing."
"Well, Jon, I guess if your going to let me zap you I can try and humor you with this." Zoe said. "Their are a few points to the goth movement. The first is about mood. freedom to be in touch with your emotions, even the darker ones. the second is rebelling without political ties. Unlike the Punk and Hippie movements of the past goth has no political ties. The third point of being a goth is expressing your individuality."
Jon chuckled. "So you want to make everyone an individual just like you?" he said sarcasticly.
Zoe scowled, her trigger finger twitched but never activated the device. "I am just sick of everyone calling us Goths freaks is all."
"I hate to say this" jon said "But being an individual is something society dislikes. It's why I get picked on so much, I just don't fit in. I just want you to think if converting everyone to your individuality defeats the purpose or not."
"yeah" said Karyn, "if you do that your not a real goth are you. Wait until I tell Zelda and Sabrina you want us to conform to social norms."
Zoe grumbled, it's definately not going her way. She assumed that people made goths would go along with her goth movement. She still was aiming the device at Jon and wasn't hapy, but would she use it?
