Well, that was a waste of time. Jon couldn't find the stone anywhere, or any indication that he had it at all. Already feeling tired, he grabbed his homework and got started. It looked like he had already done some of it, thankfully, but there was still a lot more to finish. When he wished up this Alternate Reality Device, he should have made an extra feature to allow him to not only inhabit the body of himself in this reality, but also have access to the memories that this version of him had. It might have made things a little easier.
Sighing, he opened his trigonometry book and got started.
Meanwhile, back in Jon's own reality, Karyn was becoming concerned. Why hadn't Jon come back yet? Thinking that his family might be asking too many prying questions, she decided to use the stone. "I wish that Jon's family won't worry about where Jon is, until he comes back." The stone glowed, granting her wish. Okay, that was taken care of. Now what was she going to do about Jon?
