According to the Bible in this reality, God didn't just create Adam and Eve at the beginning. He also created two others. Chayan (male) was Adam's partner. And Chava (female) was Eve's partner. Jon had never heard of those names before, but he assumed that they were well-known in this reality, as much as Adam and Eve. And speaking of those two, they did have sex and then have children. But the act of sex between two people of opposite gender was specified as being necessary in the procreation of offspring, but that's all. Having romantic or lustful feelings between people of the opposite gender was specified to be wrong and perverted. So, yes, men and women did have sex with each other (otherwise, the human race would have died out long ago), but it was seen as only a way to have offspring and nothing more. For a man to have recreational sex with a woman, well, that was commonly seen as being disgusting and perverted, especially by the church.
Skipping ahead to the New Testament, Jon saw that it wasn't Mary and Joseph, but rather Mary and a woman named Joella. The whole Jesus thing was the same, it seemed, including dying on the cross and rising from the dead. But he figured that might be the same, considering his second mother was wearing a cross necklace. But wow, everything really was the opposite here, in how people regarded homosexuality and heterosexuality.
Putting the Bible aside, Jon decided to surf the internet to see how society was now, as opposed to how it was thousands of years ago.
