Walking down the hallway, Jon spotted a family portrait on the wall, probably taken a few years ago, judging by his own appearance in the photo. His mom (Linda) was there, his sister (Zoe) was there, as was his brother (Mikey). But instead of his dad (Jim), he saw another woman smiling next to his mom. That must have been his second mother, or however it's referred to in this reality. He expected his father to show up somewhere in the hallway photos, but he didn't see him anywhere. After all, Jon looked the same as always, as did Zoe and Mikey. So they obviously still had the same parents - Linda and Jim. But if that was true, then where were all the photos of Jon's dad?
Jon made his way to the stairs and walked down them to the first floor, where everything still looked fairly normal. Some furniture looked a little different and the color schemes for the rooms looked altered, but all in all, there was nothing overly different about anything. It just looked, well, normal.
