And she was screaming.
"What are you? Are you an alien?"
"What?"
Then she started hitting him.
"Hey! Cut that out!"
She stopped, but stared at him.
"I'm just a boy, that's all," Jon said.
"What? What's a boy?"
Then Jon remembered. There were no men in this reality. This girl had never seen a boy before. And in a way, she was right. Jon was an alien.
