The chamber began to drain, leaving a naked Jon with a vagina inside. He coughed up water, looked around, then looked at Jon through the glass. Then he started pounding on it.
Jon pressed the button to let him/her out.
"What happened?!" exclaimed the new Jon. "How did I get in here?" S/he pointed at the original Jon. "And why is there someone who looks like me?"
"Calm down," said Karyn. "What's the last thing you remember?"
"I just went up to the machine and typed in 'girl Jon'. Now suddenly I was in the water inside it. And I'm naked." S/he looked up and down his body... "I have a vagina! I'm the 'girl Jon'!"
"You seem to remember everything I did up to the point you were created," said the original Jon.
From outside, Jon's mother yelled "How's that build-a-man kit working?"
Both Jons went for the door, but the naked one with the vagina stopped a second later. This wasn't a good time to walk around. Instead he went over to the dresser and closet and took out a complete set of clothes. They still fit, at least.
Meanwhile, the original Jon opened the door of his room and said "Mom, it works great!"
"Really? When your grandfather sent you that it sounded like science fiction. It's impossible to make people."
"No, really, it works."
"It does? How?"
"I'll show you later, Mom."
Jon's grandfather? Yeah, that must be it. The stone changes reality. Well, what's the most logical explanation for Jon having an impossible device? Of course--having inherited that device from his grandfather. He already had a magic stone and that wasn't any less impossible.
Jon entered his room again and closed the door. The other Jon, who was getting dressed, said "Damn it, why did I have to do this? But it isn't really my fault at all, I just remember it."
"What's that all about?" asked Jon.
"I lost my penis!" replied the other Jon, who had just put on his pants, so it wasn't obvious any more.
"You never had one. You just started existing a minute ago."
"But I remember having one."
"The machine can't change something it already made."
"But you can wish that it's a better machine that can. Or just wish for a change right now." He (she?) finished putting on his clothes.
Jon (the original) wasn't sure what to do. Finally, holding the stone, he said, "I wish...."
