A greenish ray of light came out of the barrel and struck Jon full in the chest, and then seemed to splash and flow around his torso. His chest began to tingle and the green light expanded upwards and downwards to engulf his entire body. His entire body began to tingle and he felt slight pressure in some places and slight pinching sensations in other places.
He watched Karyn's reaction through the greenish haze that surrounded him, but she didn't seem to be moving.
He felt his perspective change as he shrunk down a few inches, and then a pinch felt between his legs turned his awareness back to himself. Jon tried to look down at his body but couldn't move his head.
The clothes he wore seemed to be moving and flowing around his body now, and his legs felt bare. The weight on his chest, that he just realized was there, seemed to be supported more comfortably, and then the green haze faded.
Jon had taken a breath and was holding it when he pulled the trigger, and as soon as the beam hit him he began explosively letting his breath out. He hadn't even exhaled half way by the time the green haze disappeared. Taking a couple of breaths he looked down at himself and saw that he was now wearing a cute pink t-shirt with a heart pattern and a rather short, cut-off denim skirt.
Karyn's comment brought him back to reality and he just looked at her for a moment.
