"Who should I try it on first?" Jon asked.
"Well, I don't want you trying it on me."
"Why not?"
"Well, because I don't want you to know what my fantasies and nightmares are. That's why." Karyn watched as Jon held the device, pointing it in her direction. "Jon? Jon, don't do it."
Karyn leapt for the device before Jon could activate it and then she pointed it at him.
Karyn activated the device and on the screen Jon's fantasy and nightmare were listed. After each one was the word ACTIVATE. Presumably, Jon only had to touch one of the ACTIVATE words applying to either the fantasy or nightmare to initiate the fantasy or nightmare.
