"Who should I try it on first?" Jon asked.
"Well, I don't want you trying it on me," Karyn answered.
"Why not?"
"Well, because I don't want you to know what my fantasies and nightmares are. That's why."
Jon shrugged his shoulders. "Okay, fine." Jon thought for a few seconds. "How about my mom?"
"That's fine."
They left Jon's bedroom and went downstairs. Jon's mom was in the living room on the sofa, reading one of her books.
They walked into the room and Jon pointed the device towards her and activated it. On the screen, his mom's fantasy and nightmare were listed. After each one was the word ACTIVATE. Presumably, Jon only had to touch one of the ACTIVATE words applying to either the fantasy or nightmare to initiate the fantasy or nightmare.
