Getting the stone was easier said than done, though. Karyn had it (or maybe Sarah). The best they could think of was to hide by the house of Sarah and her sister and either try to sneak in or ambush them.
They waited by the front door. After a few minutes of waiting, there suddenly was a loud ringing sound from the inside. Karyn opened the door and immediately said "I wish the people trying to ambush me can't do anything until I let them."
Joy and Alan froze, not very hidden since they were preparing to jump Karyn. She walked over to them and said, "I see it worked. I wished to be warned when you came here, and it worked." Karyn looked at Joy said, "Hmm. I guess you're not a guy any more. Though you're still pretty close. You could just as well be male if it wasn't for those add-ons. I wonder what I should do... I still have wishes left, but then this thing never runs out. I know! I wish...."
