Joy looked at Karyn and noticed that she was mistaken. This was clearly the same Karyn that was removed from existence by the dream machine. It's just that she looked a bit shaken up.
Sarah walked over to Karyn. "Are you okay?"
"Uh, yeah. I think so. I just feel a little out of it for some reason." She looked around. "Where's that device that Joy was going to use on me?"
"I destroyed it," Sarah said.
"Good. Now what should we do about them?" Karyn asked, pointing at Joy and Alan, who were still frozen in place by Sarah's wish.
