"I wish that as soon as one of you starts to take off his disguise, he will take it off but the other one's disguise will become 100% real, that he'd turn into a girl who looks exactly as he does in the disguise, and that everyone except us will remember him being that way."
"One of you will be a freak!" said Sarah. "And the best part is, to everyone but the four of us, you'll have always been a freakish girl!
"This isn't funny Sarah," Jon pouted. "You can't reverse wishes! Alan or I could be stuck like that for the rest of our lives!"
"Hmm, you're right," Karyn paused thoughtfully. "Well if that's the case then we need to do something about that. Can't have a beefy girl called Jon or Alan walking around town can we? I wish that if Jon transforms, his name will be Joy, and if Alan transforms, his name will be Alison.
"We have to get the stone!" Jon said with determination. Suddenly he prepared to leap for Karyn... but he realized that something was preventing him from doing it.
"Oh, did I forget to tell you?" said Karyn. "I wished that you'd follow us until we went home, but wouldn't actually be able to get the stone from us. Now, I wish that Sarah and I were at home." Instantly she disappeared from sight.
"They're at home," said Alan. "Maybe we have a chance. Does the part about not being able to get the stone also wear off when she gets home?"
"I don't know," said Jon. "All we can do is try... I wish I could get out of this disguise." Of course, the stone was with Karyn. "But if I did, then you'd become a weird girl. And if you took off yours, I would..."
"Maybe we should take them off anyway. The wish isn't going to be reversed any more easily before we take the disguises off than after, and we can't go home to our family dressed like girls. I don't know, Jon, what do you think?"
