"Well, let's see." Karyn thought for a minute and then smiled. "Jon wants his stone back, and my wish earlier will make him keep stalking us, so lets make those boys a bit more fun to look at since they'll be dogging us all day."
"More fun to look at? I'd rather not look at them at all."
Karyn took a breath and then began. "I wish Jon and Alan would believe that they won't be able to get the stone back from me today unless they go and get their nails done at Nine Inch Nailz. I wish that after they get their nails done with long acrylic tips, at least half an inch long and painted carnation pink, they will realize that they didn't have to get their nails done but won't know how to take the nails or polish off. Wow, that was a mouthful. What do you think?"
Sarah tried to comprehend what Karyn had just said and then a slow smile spread on her face. "Awesome! That's better than what I was thinking! I would have just made their fingers sprout pink nails. Now they gotta go through getting them done first!" Sarah began laughing at the thought of the boys sitting in front of the oriental girls who would be babbling at each other in their language, making jokes about these two gay boys getting their nails done. "Sis, you're a riot!"
Karyn took a bow and then they both turned to see the boys suddenly scramble away in the direction of the nail salon.
Jon and Alan had found Karyn on her way to the music store. Carefully, so she wouldn't see them, they kept a good distance behind her and tried to keep as many people between them as they could without losing her.
When they saw her heading toward Sarah in the music store, they stopped on the other side of the mall walkway behind a display. Ducking down, they ignored a few people staring at them so they could get a good view of the girls.
"Shit, she's gonna tell Sarah all about the stone I bet." Alan looked accusingly at Jon. "It's all your fault anyway. How the fuck did she get the stone?"
Jon didn't look away from the girls and saw Sarah start pawing through CDs. The girls seemed to be talking, but from this distance Jon couldn't hear what they were saying. "Shut up dude, I can't hear them."
The boys watched as the girls talked for a few minutes and then Sarah seemed to have a problem. She was looking at a cute girl in a purple tank top with long black hair and then turned back to her sister with a shocked expression.
"Shit, I bet they just made a wish. Jon, we gotta get that stone."
"I know, I know, but how? If we rush them she might wish us away or something."
"Or worse. Yeah. I know! We can disguise ourselves. Walk up and introduce ourselves while in disguise and when they let their guard down we can snatch the stone."
Jon looked at Alan like he was stupid, but after a moment started to smile and nod his head. "Yeah, that could work. Yeah. But we'd have to disguise ourselves as girls so they'll talk to us. They'd probably tell us to buzz off if we were disguised as some other guys."
Alan and Jon discussed the insane idea to disguise themselves as girls to get close to Karyn and Sarah and finally came up with a plan. "We'll have to get our nails done first."
Jon looked as his hands and nodded. "Ok, I have some cash, lets stop at the ATM first and get some more."
"I can dig into my savings." Alan's face was fanatical. "When we get the stone back we can make ourselves rich."
"Yeah, we'll get the money back." Glancing back, Jon saw the girls were still in the music store but didn't notice them looking at the boys. "They'll probably be in there for hours looking at cds. Let's go."
Jon and Alan headed to the mall's ATM and pulled out their ATM cards. "My dad would kill me if he caught me stealing my own money." "Mom would kill me too." The boys withdrew as much as they could, which was only a couple hundred, and then ran to the Nine Inch Nailz nail salon.
Walking up to the counter, the Vietnamese girl asked them in a thick accent, "Can I help you?"
"Yeah," Jon said, glancing nervously at Alan and then feeling very embarrassed. "We need to get our nails done."
"I wish there was another way," lamented Alan, but he knew as well as Jon did that there was no other way to get the stone back.
