"I wish I had a teleportation device that I can use to send me whereever I want to go."
As john said that the air in the corner of his room shimmered and sizzled and sparked and then their was a loud POP as a dark teleportation chamber appeared in the corner of his room.

"Lets try this out" Jon said. "I'd never be late to school again"
"Isn't this a bit... uhm... awkward. It isn't portable. How could we get back, or port whenever we want."
"Maybe reality changed so these devices are common" Jon said, "Lets give it a try, what's the worst that can happen."
