Marilyn took out the wishing stone and said "I wish that the Karyn part of me would never dominate my personality. And I wish that I can never be split using that merging device." She liked being Marilyn and she wanted to stay that way.
"What did you do that for?!" Jon yelled, charging towards her. "Now I'll never get Karyn back!"
"That's the point," Marilyn said.
Jessica turned towards her friend. "Marilyn, how could you do that? Part of you is my son's best friend. She's just as important as Melissa. Maybe more."
"Jessica, what happened to you?" Marilyn asked. "When you were first created, I seem to remember you wanting to sleep with Jon."
"Yeah ... well ... I ..."
"Maybe I should wish that the Teresa part of you is dominant. Maybe then you'd act more like my friend."
"You can't!" Jon yelled. It was bad enough that Karyn would probably be lost forever. But now the same thing could happen to his mom? He couldn't let this happen.
"Of course, I can," Marilyn said. "I've got the wishing stone. I can do whatever I want."
"No!" Jon yelled, lurching towards Marilyn, as she spoke the words "I wish ..."
