"Weird," the new boy said.
"That's all?" Marilyn asked.
"Yeah. I feel weird, but I also feel normal. Part of me doesn't want to be this way and that part is really strong."
Marilyn kind of knew what he was talking about. The part of her that was Karyn didn't like acting like a slut, but the Melissa part was much more dominate over the Karyn part. She looked like Karyn, but felt like Melissa.
This new boy, on the other hand, was in conflict inside himself. Each side of him was fighting against the other. Jon and Zoe made it clear that they didn't want to be merged, and this was the result. Neither side had dominance.
The new boy grabbed his head, as if he were having a headache.
"What's wrong?" asked Jessica.
"My head hurts."
Jessica looked at Marilyn. "Separate him. Get Jon and Zoe back."
Marilyn was surprised. "Is that concern in your voice?" she asked her slutty friend.
"I'm not just Teresa anymore. I'm Joan too and those are my children. Get them back!"
"Okay, okay," Marilyn said. She aimed the merger at the new boy, hit REVERSE on the display screen and zapped them.
