Sarah and her friends considered it for a while. "Well, thanks to our wish, Jon's now in the running to be the Prom Queen."
"That's true. And it would look pretty odd if a guy got elected Prom Queen."
"Right," Tara nodded. "And you know, we already wished we'd all have perfect make-up and beautiful dresses. So it's only natural that..."
"But Jon's our friend now," Melissa said, "It just doesn't seem - I don't know, right."
"Ladies!", said Sarah. "I never knew you could be so bigoted."
The girls were all startled by Sarah's outburst.
"In this day and age, why couldn't a boy, particularly one as beautiful as our friend Jon, be the Prom Queen. In fact, it would serve the
school administration right to shake things up a little."
"Gather round girls. I have an idea to run by you. Please sit there for a moment Jon."
Jon nodded as Sarah and the other girls huddled together. He could hear some of what they said.
"You're crazy." "I like it." "But could we pull it off?" Then some giggling, followed by Sarah, "Then its agreed?." "Yeah!!", they all said together.
Sarah and the girls gathered around Jon. "Jon, we've come up with an idea to make this situation as enjoyable for you as possible. All of us
are going to work together to make sure you become this years prom queen."
"How?", Jon asked.
"Oh don't you worry about that. When this group of friends puts our mind to something we get it done." Sarah gave Jon a big hug.
"Umm, aren't we forgetting something?", Tara said. "Who will be Jon's prom king? We all have boyfriends."
The girls all looked at Sarah while the word "Boyfriend" echoed in Jon's head.
