"Well..." said Karyn, "think about it. I set it so that the clone still has Jon's memories..."
Both Jons thought about it and then the one with girl's clothes said "Right! That means I'm the clone. I remember wearing boy's clothes, but I'm not wearing them now. It feels weird to see myself wearing boy clothes, but I still remember it."
"Right!" said Karyn.
"Besides, I don't have the stone," said the Jon in female clothes.
"So now what?" said Jon.
"Let's go shopping!" said the Jon in girl's clothes.
"Why do you..." said the first Jon, but then he realized. "Oh, I see. Sarah would want to go shopping, so so would you. Are you going to call us dweebs too?"
"Yeah, you dweebs," said the clone. "I can't wait to talk to Nicole. She's a lot cooler than you." Nicole was Sarah's brunette cheerleader friend.
"Uh-oh..." said the first Jon. "I wish the other Jon liked me and Karyn."
The clone looked confused for a second, then said, "Of course I do. But Nicole is still cool. There's lots of people I never knew when I was you..." And the clone started to name Sarah's friends. "Maybe if I get to know them I can even join the cheerleaders."
"Wait, wait!" said Jon. "You're still me. Sarah's friends wouldn't be friends with another me. And you wouldn't get into the cheerleaders. I suppose next you want to date Sarah's boyfriend. You're a guy!"
"How do you know they wouldn't be friends with me? Now let's go to the mall. I don't have any other skirts and I need to buy some."
"All right," said Jon. He set the password on the cloning machine, so someone else couldn't come in and use it, and they left.
As they left, Jon's brother Mikey stopped them. "I see you used your cloning machine," he said. Obviously when Jon created the machine, everyone thought he already had one. "I guess I'll have to get used to there being another Jon around like you. Why are you wearing girl clothes, anyway? Did Jon really mess around and make you that way?"
"Uhh, not mess around," said the original Jon. "But yeah." He realized that Mikey was right. He'd have to live with a crossdressing version of himself forever! Or at least until he went off to college.
In the mall, Jon, Karyn, and Jon's crossdressed clone were walking along. Then the clone saw....
