"Try to do something," Jon said.
"Do what?" Karyn asked.
"Anything."
"That's not very helpful, Jon. Why don't you do something?"
"Okay, fine. I will." Jon kept perfectly still, concentrating on ... well ... something. He was about to give up when all of a sudden it seemed like his vision was getting blurry. After a few seconds, his vision came back into focus, but he wasn't seeing his bedroom. He was seeing the bathroom on the other side of the wall.
He was seeing through the wall.
"Jon? What is it?"
He turned to Karyn. His "X-ray vision" was still active, so when he saw Karyn, he saw through her clothes. She looked naked. He smiled, but then felt foolish and immediately closed his eyes.
"What? What is it?"
"I can see through things. Like X-ray vision or something."
It took Karyn a moment to figure out that Jon was using his vision power on her, which was why he was acting so strangely when looking at her.
"You looked at me naked, didn't you?"
"I didn't mean to. It was an accident."
"Well, try not to do it again. Okay?"
"Fine. What about you now? What's your special power?"
Karyn wondered that herself.
