I don't know how long I was laying there after regaining consciousness. My whole body hurt from whatever the creature that had taken over my father's body had done. I was content to just sitting there, eyes closed, and let time tick by.

I could tell I wasn't in my house anymore. I seemed to be laying on concrete, cracked and uncomfortable. The air was dry, and it was eerily silent.

"Hmm, hello there." I heard. The voice was gravelly, tired sounding, and low. I kept my eyes closed, hoping the owner of the voice would take a hint and go away. I didn't hear anyone walking away, but I hadn't heard them approach, so I could hope they had left.

"Are you just going to lay there forever?" the voice asked.

"Just leave me alone." I responded.

Silence for a moment, then the voice spoke again. "You don't sound like I figured you would. Not with that scent."

"What are you talking about?" I asked. I opened my eyes, and saw a strange red sky above me. I darted up to a sitting position. I was sitting in some sort of clearing, crumbling buildings around my, along with some dead trees. "Where the hell am I?"

"Exactly, child."

I turned to face the owner of the voice that seemed so intent on talking to me, and was met with a withered, gray demon. It was incredibly thin. I could see it's ribs clearly. The most striking feature of it, however, were it's eyes, or lack thereof. It's eye lids seemed to be sewn shut.

"What are you...this is Hell?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm afraid so."

I stood up. "That bastard. I can't believe he would send us..." I paused, looking around slowly. "Zoe and Mikey. Where are they?" I asked.

"Hmm? Other people? I'm afraid you're the only one that I can smell here." the demon said.

"I need to find them. He must have sent them here too." I said, beginning to walk away from the demon.

"Whoa, hold on there, child." the demon says. "Wandering around here defenseless isn't a good idea. Especially not smelling like you do."

"What are you talking about? Smelling like a human?" I asked.

"Human? No, you don't smell like a human. It's why I was a bit confused when I heard you speak. Your scent is that of a demon. A succubus, to be exact."
