Liked the new one. Are we gonna see Mars/Ares soon?
Mind, even if he is gonna be seen soon, I don't plan, at least just yet, to have Lucas interact with Mars/Ares, if only because I have scant idea how it would pan out; Deities aren't exactly ego-driven, so Ares wouldn't be "evil" or anything; he just exists and governs war. However, the fact is Lucas is utterly distrustful of militaries... Of course she'd be polite, but it'd be in that 'borderline' way (as in, very formal, polite, distant and respecting the rules of discourse, but not at all enthused by his company). Incidentally, if, IF you guys think you got ideas for such an interaction and IF you think it would add to the story, let me know.
Also mind: I would not read Ares as evil, nor would I "play" him as such; it's just that Lucas is a character that, due to her country's history (and due to her own political views, of course), has a tendency to equate "military" with "people itching to become tyrants": As far as Lucas is concerned, a god of armies is a god of tyranny, and she has some very specific ideas about what must be done to tyrants. :p
Again, I am NOT pushing the envelope on this, even because I don't know, at least yet, how it would go, nor would I have anything planned. ;)
