The boys, who were grouped together in the back of the room watching Karyn and Sarah make out had, of course, not heard the wish, and therefore thought they had always been girls. Simon, a fairly geeky kid, had become Simone, a sexy blond-haired girl. Eric was now Erica.
"You know you can't reverse that!" Jon yelled at Amber. "They'll be stuck like that for rest of their lives."
The next girl, Tiffany, shook hands with Jon and said "Then, it should be normal. I wish that everyone thinks it's normal for the guys who changed into girls to be girls."
"Tiffany, that doesn't do any good," said Jon. "The guys think it's normal anyway, since they hear the wish. Only we are affect... aff... what? Did you make a wish?"
"Jan?" said Tiffany. "I don't know. I don't remember... I thought I did. I wish I had a lot of money in my bank account?"
"That's fine," said Jan. "There you go; just check your bank balance. The wishes don't cheat you. You're not going to end up with something like five dollars because you didn't say how much money."
"What if someone wishes for something really nasty? Like if a guy I hate wishes that he'd have sex with me?"
"You... umm..." Jan's own wish was for Karyn and Sarah to have sex with her, of course. "Well, there aren't a lot of guys in this class. I mean, two guys are out sick with the flu, and one's in the bathroom, and one had to go to practice, and there aren't any others!" In fact, the guys in the room had become girls, but nobody remembered, not even Jan. "The whole room is full of girls."
"Well, what if a lesbian or bisexual wishes for it? Someone like you?"
"Tiffany, I'd never...."
But Jan knew that she did. She didn't realize how out of hand it had gotten already. It was far out of hand. She certainly wouldn't want some random person using a wish to force her to have sex with them, and she really had no right to do it to someone else. Almost sobbing, she said "I wish I was home with Karyn and Sarah."
Jan reappeared in her bedroom with the two 'fuckbuddies'.
"I wish I knew how to reverse the wish I made last night. Please...."
The stone did as she asked and gave her the answer. Jan spoke the wish that would reverse the first wish. "I wish that Karyn and Sarah 'could' have sex with me because they can if they want to, but they're normal again. I wish that Sarah was at home, and that only Karyn and myself remember any unusual events or wishes today."
Karyn stood up... paused, and a strange expression appeared on her face... and she slapped Jan, hard.
"Hey!" yelled Jan, her makeup smudged and her skin red from the slap.
"You deserve it," said Karyn. "I can't believe it. We're best friends, and suddenly this..."
"Look, Karyn," said Jan. "It was an accident. I'd never wish I had sex with you. It happened when I was asleep and I didn't know what I was doing. Besides, I didn't. I made the wish while I was asleep; nothing really happened last night. I wish I never make another accidental wish in my sleep, okay?"
"I know," said Karyn, "but it's so... so...."
"Come on," said Jan. "Friends again? Please?"
"Okay," said Karyn, and hugged Jan.
"You know," said Karyn, "with all those wishes you made, you not only wiped out all memory of me and Sarah as your 'fuckbuddies', you wiped out all memory of having done anything or given out any wishes. Are you sure that's a good idea?"
"Maybe it is," said Jan. "You know, when I first got this stone, I was going to meet you again and talk about it. This morning. But we never did, because of that whole wish accident. We need to think of better things to do with the stone, maybe even make some plans against this enemy Grandpa warned me of..."
"Yeah, said Karyn. "Well, I'm here now. Why don't we talk about it now?"
"Sure," said Jan. "Let's throw out some ideas about using this stone...."
