"You can't take the stone from me, Karyn," Jon said.
"Ha! Who said I was Karyn?"
"Huh?"
Karyn began to grin in the same evil way she had before.
Oh no! I had totally forgotten about the dark entity that grandpa mentioned, Jon thought to himself. The entity was, in fact, the reason that Jon had made the wish to make it so that the stone couldn't be taken from him. Jon had gotten so consumed with the effect of his accidental wish, that he had forgotten.
"My grandfather told me about you," Jon said.
"Oh, he did. Did he?"
Zoe was confused. "What's going on here?"
"Oh, shut up, you slutty bimbo," Karyn said, hatefully.
"What happened to the real Karyn?" Jon asked.
