Jon kissed Karyn back, as if it was his last chance... and then realized. It was so simple. "Karyn, I've got it! I wish that I can teleport!"
Right after Jon made the wish, he tried to use his new power... and of course it worked. He vanished and reappeared on the other side of the room. Then he vanished again.
Karyn was worried that Jon may have gotten himself into some kind of danger when Jon reappeared with a refrigerator magnet in his hands. It was shaped like Australia.
"What's that?" wondered Karyn.
"It's a souvenir. I went halfway around the world and got it."
"You could have picked that up at the mall, they have them from different countries." She smiled. "But I know you didn't. We don't have to worry about not being able to see each other."
Which wasn't quite true. For one thing, what would they do if Jon was supposed to be hundreds of miles away but someone saw him with Karyn? But still, it was a good start.
