"Ohmygosh that skirt totally goes with that top!" Jessica exclaimed, holding out a small pink miniskirt.
"Pink is totally your color Karyn." Stephanie agreed.
It was an effort for Karyn to keep the smile on her face. So far she'd managed talking to them alright. Even though she hated gossip, she chimed in whenever she knew something, agreed with whatever the others seemed to think, and laughed whenever they laughed. Eventually she got more confident, and participation became automatic for her.
But then the shopping had started. The other girls had all started picking out outfits, and Karyn had no choice but to do the same. Fortunately, she found a credit card she'd never had in her purse, so money wouldn't be an issue, but unfortunately for her she knew nothing about fashion. She'd always been a tomboy, so when picking anything out she just went with whatever the others suggested, which resulted in her carrying around two shopping bags full of skirts, tight t-shirts, and halter tops, over half of which were pink.
Karyn hated pink.
"Yeah, you're right." Karyn responded, placing the skirt with the rest of her clothes.
Jon was hanging out at the mall contemplating spending what was left of his allowance on a new video game when he saw Sarah Mcmillan and her usual entorage raiding the clothing stores. But as they got closer, he saw one girl he didn't recognize.
She was a blonde girl wearing a tight pink shirt that made her breasts really stand out, and Jon couldn't help but notice that they were as large as Sarah's. She was giggling and chatting and carrying large bags of clothes like the other girls, only...
Karyn? Jon was bewildered. But there was no denying it. The long, straight blonde hair and large breasts were new, and she was dressed very different from usual (and to his surprise even wearing make-up), but that was definitley her. He almost walked up and confronted her right then, but thought better of it and instead decided to go back home to think about this.
What the hell is going on?
