The next day Karyn ran up to Jon's house and knocked on the door.
She was anxious to experiment with the rock and test its limits.
Jon opened the door and invited her in.
As she stepped into the house she noticed three of Jon's friends sitting in the living room.
Karyn pulled Jon aside and whispered to him.
"What are they doing here?"
"They're gonna test the rock out with me."
"Jon, don't you think it's a bad idea to tell everyone about this rock. I mean, what if someone steals it or makes a crazy wish? I mean, look at my breasts for god sakes."
"I am, it's hard not to. They look lovely."
"Shut up. You know what I mean. We only made a handful of wishes yesterday and already I'm different."
"Karyn... these are our friends. If we can't trust them, who can we trust?"
"They're YOUR friends. Not mine."
"Okay. They're MY friends and this is MY rock. They're gonna be a part of this whether you like it or not. If you don't want to test it out with us then your welcome to go."
Karyn shrugged. She looked at the 3 guys sitting in the living room quietly. Eric, Kevin, and James had gone to school with Jon and Karyn since 1st grade. She knew Jon liked hanging out with them but she had never become great friends with any of them. Ever since puberty, they were always making lewd sexual comments about her. She especially didn't like the way James gawked at her.
Karyn walked into the living room and sat down. Jon followed and set the rock down on the coffee table.
"Okay everyone! This is the first official group test! Who wants to go first."
James raised his hand and Jon tossed him the rock. Karyn looked at him with skepticism.
"Remember James... wishes can't be reversed. Be careful."
