Eric returned to his room a few minutes later, after making plans to meet up with Jason at the mall. He sat back at his new computer and turned his attention back to the screen, which was still displaying "Enter user name".
He shrugged and typed in his name. "Welcome, Eric. Enter name of subject to edit." the computer said. Another text box appeared. He decided to start off by typing in his own name.
An hourglass appeared on the screen for a moment, replaced by an image of himself on the left side of the screen, and a number of buttons to options that he seemed free to change. At the top were three tabs, appearance, mentality, and relationships. Appearance was selected already, and the screen was displaying quite a bit of information about him, and it was all correct.
"My height, my weight, even the length of my..." he stopped, looking around and noticing that the door to his room was open. He quickly got up and closed it. He sat back at his computer and went back to looking at the information. His eyes now drawn to the fact that he seemed to be able to edit the information.
He brought the mouse over to the height section and clicked it. He changed it from 5'11" to 6'2". He then found himself his with a wave of vertigo, and when it passed, everything seemed smaller.
"Holy shit!" Eric said, standing up from his chair, realizing that he was, in fact, taller. He looked toward the computer in awe. "This is amazing. It actually lets me change things."
He sat back down and went about changing a few more things. He made himself more muscular, eliminating the body fat he had, and upped his metabolism so that he would easily be able to keep his new physique. He also increased his penis length to 11 inches, from the 5.5 inches it had been.
Satisfied, he clicked on the mentality tab and looked over the various options that apparently represented his psyche. His eyes were drawn to the confidence section, which was almost as high as it could be. He hovered the mouse over it for a moment, and a text bubble popped up.
"Eric has received a major confidence boost from discovering the power of the Master PC. He currently feels like he can do no wrong."
Eric smiled as he read that. He then went about making a few minor changes to his mind, eliminating fears, giving himself a greater memory and ability to learn, and increasing his creativity and reasoning.
He then clicked on the final tab, relationships. He saw a list of names under this one, with a description of what the person was to him. He saw his parents names, his sister Lizzie, his friends, including Jason. Even Lindsay, the girl he had a crush on, was listed there, with the word crush next to her name.
He cautiously clicked on his fathers name and a box appeared on the screen.
"Opening new subject to edit. Save changes to current subject?"
Eric clicked yes, and the image of himself disappeared and was replaced by an image of his father, sitting in his office at work. Apparently, the relation tab allowed him to quickly edit people who were connected to him.
He leaned back in the chair and thought to himself. Should he change some of the people around him, or leave them as they are for now?
