Jason looked at the screen and tried to bring up Eric. He couldn't find Eric.
He found the box and typed in "Eric Williams," then pressed "search". No results!
But wait... a grey line of text beneath the "No results" page gave a suggestion. "Eric Williams not found. Did you mean Erica Williams?"
He clicked on the name "Erica Williams" and was taken to Erica's picture, with a list of traits in a description box. Reading down the list of traits--birthday, mother and father, everything else--it became very clear to him that Erica was really Eric.
"Do you realize now?" said Erica.
"Oh--- of course, mistress," he replied. Now that Jason did know that Erica was Eric, his submissive programming kicked in. The original programming was for sexual submission, but his libido was still going at the time and just the voice of his lover was enough to get him excited enough to obey.
"I'd like to use the computer now," said Erica, and Jason silently got up, letting Erica take the seat.
Whew, thought Erica. That was a close call. She had barely escaped a bad mistake.
When she told the machine to make Eric be Jason's boyfriend, that was a memory change. She didn't just make Eric be someone Jason would like to have as a boyfriend, but someone who already was--so Jason had to have new memories of past sex with Eric.
Her mistake was assuming that all changes were like that. They weren't. The Master PC doesn't change anyone's memory unless the user tells it to. It's not like some other magical devices (like the stone mentioned in the help menu under 'other magical items') that change memories all the time.
Anyway, the change was simple.
First, she typed in commands for Jason. "Jason will go downstairs and wait patiently for Eric. Jason will also forget about the Master PC program and will never want to use this computer."
Jason turned around and walked away.
Then she erased most of the previous changes she made for Jason and tried something similar without the boyfriend memories. Now that she realized her mistake, she decided she'd be better off just making Jason desire Eric now and in the future, not change what he thinks of the past.
Once again, she put Jason's sexuality on "straight", kept his libido up, and put his sexual attitude down a little bit towards submissive--not all the way, but enough that he wouldn't force himself on Eric/Erica. Then she added "Jason is madly in love with Eric, but not physically attracted to him because Jason is straight. When he sees Erica, he will instantly recognize that this is Eric, and will not even question that Erica has become a girl."
Then she submitted the changes and went downstairs to see Jason again...
