Finally Eric decided to do neither of those. so back to the drawing board. Part of what was confusing about how the Master PC worked was that it changed people's memories. So Jason thought he had always had breasts. But Eric didn't remember it, so it was hard to figure out how to deal with it. If he wanted to experiment with a relationship with a female Jason, maybe there were other ways of doing it.
Eric made his plans but couldn't figure out how to do it graphically. He'd have to type a bunch of text.
"Jason, would you mind leaving a moment?" he said. "I have to send someone email. It suddenly turned up. Just five minutes."
He could hear the reluctance in Jason's voice when he said "Sure," but Jason did leave. Once the door was closed he selected the appropriate menu item and changed Jason into a girl. The whole image changed (except, of course, for the breasts, which just remained). Jason had a softer face and longer hair, but looked very much like a female version of himself.
But then came the description box.
"Jason was magically changed into a girl this morning. He has decided to experiment with this change and will go out on a date with Eric while not revealing that he is Jason, calling himself Jasmine instead."
Eric pressed "Enter" and the PC beeped, popping up an error. "Master PC cannot create magical items." The help text provided some suggestions, and finally Eric changed it to say that the magical item only worked once. That way reality would change as if Jason used a magic item, but the magic item won't still be magic, so the PC won't have to make magic.
This time the computer accepted it. Eric turned off the monitor and said "It's okay, Jasmine!"
The door opened and in stepped an attractive girl, the same one whose picture Jason's picture had turned into. The girl smiled at him and said "Let's go!"
Eric noticed that she wasn't claiming to have always loved him. Of course, Jason couldn't do that since he was pretending, but even if he wasn't, since Eric made it so that Jason had just changed, his personality must have just changed too, so he didn't have a lifelong crush.
:All right, but where are we going?"
