Jason sighed. "Eric, you know we made plans to go shopping."
Eric had no idea what their plans could possibly be and had to bluff. "Sure we did. Er, where were we going?"
"The mall?" replied Jason.
The voice seemed strange to Eric. It was hard to see Jason as a flat-chested girl when he kept sounding just like Jason. But he ignored it and continued with the bluff. "Of course I knew that. Where are we going first?"
"Are you sure you know where we're going, Eric? The department store, of course. You were going to give me some advice when I pick out clothes."
"Won't you be better off going with your parents? Or with a girl?"
"Maybe, but I'm not, and you said you'd help me. Besides we can do whatever you want after that. I don't mind."
Eric just didn't understand it. All right, Jason was Jason down to his belly. The rest of him was a girl. Being a girl must have changed him in some way, but it was hard to figure out just how based on how Jason was acting. What was their relationship? How exactly would Eric have been friends with someone who had part of a female body? Would Jason have a crush on Eric? Would they be just friends or something closer? "I have to go again," said Eric. Once he got to the Master PC he could look up Jason's statistics. It would answer questions like that.
"Again?" said Jason. "You just did. You'd better come now. We don't want to miss the bus." Jason glared at Eric and he finally decided to go with Jason. He could figure things out on the way or once they get there, anyway.
