Finally she decided on the same age and left the age setting the way it was.
Then she thought. She wanted to have a more masculine brother, and she had made changes for that. But she also wanted to have a sister she could do girl things with, and she had made changes for that. She really couldn't make up her mind between the two.
Finally, Lizzie set the gender to female. Then she set the hair back to short and moved the cursor to the masculine/feminine indicator. Noticing a button labelled "details", she clicked on it and found it was even better.
Lizzie kept Eric female, but chose a masculine height, masculine hair style, masculine clothes, and a masculine mindset. She slightly toned down his female figure so that he would be obviously feminine when naked, but in clothes would look close enough to a guy that she could be mistaken for one, except for the feminine breasts, which she didn't change. His name was now Erica.
Lizzie's next and final change (for now) was in an overall description of Erica's personality and history. She brought up a text screen and added, "Erica likes to act and dress like a guy and is very convincing as one. She even likes to talk in a lower voice. She also likes doing girl things with her sister Lizzie as long as she doesn't have to wear anything feminine herself."
So she had finished. She had a sister--she could talk about cute boys with Erica or go shopping and have Erica tell her how clothes looked on her. Yet it was also a lot like having a brother around--Erica would look and act like her brother. She could have both at the same time!
Lizzie made the changes and saved. The machine printed some message about locking the changes to Lizzie, then the screen cleared.
And into the room walked Erica...
