“You’re right Wendi, I do want to experiment a little. So, let’s choose someone unique.” Jon sat down on the bed, right next to Wendi. He put his arm on her shoulder and began the wish. “I wish your behavior, mannerisms, personality and appearance would be modeled after a female version of myself.”
Wendi glowed and then Jon watched as Wendi's clothes changed to become similar to his. She had on a copy of his black Game of Thrones T-shirt and his jeans, and her face looked like his. Her hair was the same as his but she did have it down to her shoulder, and she was wearing makeup. There were lots of ways to interpret "female version of myself" and it seemed to mean "a girl who is a lot like Jon", not "a girl who is what Jon would be if he had a sex change this very moment".
"Hey, this works," said Wendi. "You know, I'm wondering about that wish."
"Hm?" said Jon.
"I'm wondering about the side effects."
"Yeah, I should have thought about the side-- wait a minute. You're thinking like me all right--I might forget to think about the side effects until after the wish and now you're forgetting to do that too! I hope that doesn't ruin the wishes."
"Well, when I was a stone I didn't think about the side effects of the wish at all. I just gave you what you asked for. It's still better than that, right? Now let's play some of that new video game you got...."
"Sure, Wendi, but first, what were you thinking about the side effects?"
"Wishes affect reality. What's the reality like when I'm like a female version of you? Am I your sister? Cousin? Someone unrelated who you invited home because I look friendly? Or maybe you just opened a box that you got from Grandpa and as soon as you did it the magic of the box made the contents look like you?"
"I don't know. I guess we're going to find out."
